Tronic Armoured Cable Gland 20Bw Large
TSh 12,500
Our review
This Tronic cable gland is a large 20Bw unit made for terminating braided or armoured cable where the electrical continuity of the wire braid has to be preserved. That continuity matters because the braid often doubles as a path to earth, so a gland that clamps it properly keeps the installation safe and functional. It also grips the cable to relieve tension, which protects the conductors and terminals from being pulled or strained.
It suits electricians, panel builders and maintenance teams working with braided cable who need a gland that does both jobs: securing the cable and maintaining braid contact. Before buying, check the cable's outer diameter and braid type against the gland size, and confirm the thread and entry type match your enclosure or gland plate. Compare with standard non-armoured glands, which are cheaper but do not maintain braid continuity, and with other armoured glands on thread type, material and size range. Available on Sokonia.
