Tronic Spotlight Six Light White Bar, GU10, 1200mm

Our review

This is a six-light bar spotlight from Tronic, finished in white with a textured surface and made from aluminium. At 1200mm long and only 50mm high and 25mm deep, it is a slim linear fitting designed to sit above a surface and spread light along its length rather than from a single point. Each of the six heads takes a GU10 lamp, and the fitting runs on AC 220–240V, which matches typical Tanzanian mains supply. It comes with a one-year warranty.
It suits anyone lighting a long, narrow area where a single ceiling point would leave dark patches: a kitchen worktop, a corridor, a bathroom mirror wall, or the space above a dining table. The simple white aluminium body is easy to pair with pale ceilings and modern decor, and because it is a bar rather than six separate fittings, you only need one wiring point.
Before buying, check three things. First, GU10 lamps are usually not included, so budget for six and decide whether you want warm white for living areas or cooler white for tasks. Second, confirm the 1200mm length fits your ceiling run and that your wiring can carry six lamps. Third, decide on beam angle: narrow spots for highlighting, wider for general light. Compared with a single pendant or a track system, this bar gives even, directional light with a cleaner line, but it is less flexible if you later want to move individual lights. Available on Sokonia.
