Tronic White Rectangle Wall Light, Aluminium Body

Our review

This is a rectangular wall light from Tronic, finished in white and built around an aluminium body. The design is described as a modern square directional light, which means the light is aimed rather than spread evenly around the fitting. That makes it a reasonable candidate for places where you want light thrown onto a surface or along a path rather than filling a whole room. The listed uses cover living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, bedsides, corridors, stairs, gardens, courtyards, restaurants, cafes and hotels, so it is a fairly flexible fixture rather than a single-purpose one.
It will suit someone who wants a clean, plain-looking wall fixture that does not draw attention to itself, and who is happy with a directional beam. The white finish and aluminium body should sit comfortably against light walls and in both indoor and outdoor settings, though the listing does not state an IP rating, so if you are buying for a garden or courtyard, check with the seller on Sokonia whether it is rated for exposed positions. The same applies to whether it is dimmable, what bulb or LED it takes, and what voltage it runs on, since no specifications are given here.
Before deciding, compare it with other rectangular wall lights on the basis of finish, beam direction and mounting position. Also compare with round or square fittings if you want a softer spread of light, and with fixtures that include a stated IP rating if the spot you have in mind gets rained on. Measure the wall area first, and think about how high the fitting will sit, because a directional light aimed downwards reads very differently from one aimed across a wall.
