Tronic Onload Enclosed Manual Changeover Switch, 250A, 415V AC

Our review

This is a Tronic onload manual changeover unit, an enclosed grey assembly used to switch between two power sources while equipment stays energised. It also allows selection between two loads and safe isolation of downstream circuits for maintenance, with emergency breaking. The listing title mentions 1250A, but the specification text states 250Amps at AC 415V, so confirm the actual rating with the seller before ordering. It suits workshops, pumps, and small commercial boards where an operator manually transfers supply. Check your total load current, whether 250A covers it, and that the 350mm by 455mm enclosure fits your panel space. Compare with open-frame changeovers, which need a separate box, and with automatic transfer switches if you want no manual intervention.
