Ingco 300W Brushless Electric Hedge Trimmer HT6001, 60cm Blade

Our review

This is a cordless electric hedge trimmer from Ingco, built around a 300W brushless motor running at an idle speed of 3,500 min-1. The blade measures 60 centimetres with a 50 centimetre cutting length, and the unit weighs 3.4 kilograms with overall dimensions of 100 x 22 x 20 centimetres. It runs on a 58V DC, 2.5 Ah battery that gives roughly 45 minutes of working time per charge.
It suits homeowners and gardeners trimming hedges, shrubs and boundary plants where a cord would be awkward. The 50cm cutting length covers a decent strip per pass, while the 3.4kg weight is manageable for overhead work but still worth noting if you plan long sessions. Before buying, confirm the battery and charger are included, since the listing does not state this, and check that 45 minutes matches the size of your hedge. Compare against petrol trimmers for heavy growth and smaller cordless models for light shaping.
