Tronic Basket Black Pendant Light, Single E27 Ceiling Fitting

Our review

This Tronic pendant light is a single-bulb ceiling fitting built around an E27 socket, the standard screw base used by most household bulbs. The black basket shade gives it a more decorative look than a plain batten holder, so it tends to suit dining areas, kitchen islands, stairwells, bedrooms and small commercial interiors where the fitting itself is meant to be seen rather than hidden. Because the bulb is not included, the light you actually get depends on what you screw in, so decide on brightness and colour temperature first. Before buying, check your ceiling height and the drop you need, confirm the E27 base matches the bulbs you already use, and think about whether one pendant gives enough light for the room or whether you would rather run two or three in a row. Compared with flush ceiling lights, a pendant like this hangs lower and makes more of a statement, while flush fittings stay out of the way in low rooms. It is available on Sokonia.
