This is a recoil-start diesel water pump built around an 8.3HP engine with 418cc displacement and a 12.5L fuel tank. Its 100mm (4-inch) suction and discharge ports, 1420L/min flow rate, 25m maximum head lift and 7m maximum suction head put it in the larger portable class, so it suits irrigation blocks, dewatering trenches, filling tanks or moving water over distance where smaller pumps would run too long. Before buying, confirm your total head and hose run against the 25m figure, check that 100mm fittings match your pipework, and plan for the recoil starting routine and fuel use.
