Ocean Glass Salad Bowl, 10 Inches, Model 1P01825L

Our review

This is a single 10-inch glass bowl from Ocean, listed as model 1P01825L and intended for salads as well as fruit, vegetables and desserts. Ocean positions its glassware for bars, restaurants, hotels and home use, so the bowl is aimed at people who serve food often and want clear glass that shows off what is inside rather than hiding it. Before buying, think about the size in practice: ten inches across suits a shared salad or a fruit bowl on a table, but it is large for a single portion, so measure your shelf or cupboard first. Glass is also heavier than plastic or melamine, which matters if you will carry it between kitchen and table. Compare it with wooden or ceramic bowls of similar width, and check the listed capacity and material details on the Sokonia page, since no further specifications are given here. Available on Sokonia.
