Dolphin 52-Inch Ceiling Fan with 5 MDF Blades and LED Light, Model ME-DCF52-5MDC-LR

Our review

This is a 52-inch Dolphin ceiling fan built around five MDF blades, a decorative LED light and a six-speed motor, supplied with a UFH remote control. Dolphin lists it under next-generation energy-saving technology, and it runs on 230V at 50Hz. At 13.5kg net and 14.5kg gross, it is a substantial fixture, so the ceiling mount and support need to be up to that weight. The remote suggests it suits rooms where the fan sits high or out of easy reach, such as a living area or a large bedroom, and the integrated light means one fitting instead of two. Before buying, confirm your ceiling height and mounting type, check that your supply matches 230V/50Hz, and decide whether a 52-inch sweep is right for the room size. Compare against fans with fewer speeds, no remote, or no light, and against metal-bladed models if you prefer a different look.
