Decakila Sandwich Maker 750W Non-Stick 2-Slice KEEC046B

Our review

This Decakila sandwich maker is a straightforward two-slice countertop appliance rated at 750W and running on 220-240V at 50-60Hz. Its cooking plates reach roughly 180 degrees Celsius and it takes about three minutes to preheat, with thermostat control doing the regulating once you close the lid. The non-stick coating keeps toasted sandwiches from tearing when you lift them out, and the heat-insulated handle plus locking system make it safer to press down and carry while hot. A thermal cut-out and thermo fuse add a layer of protection if it overheats. It suits someone making one or two rounds of toasted sandwiches at a time, especially in a small kitchen, because it stands upright for compact storage. Before buying, think about whether you want a flat grill or a deeper-pocket model for filled breads, and check that the plate shape matches the bread you usually buy. Compare preheat times and plate coatings across similar wattage machines, since those affect how evenly and quickly your sandwiches brown. The unit measures about 203mm long, 140mm wide and 91mm high, so it needs only a modest amount of counter or cupboard space. Available on Sokonia.
