Ingco 1/2-Inch Ratchet Wrench HRTH0812, 260mm, 45T

Our review

This is a 1/2-inch drive ratchet wrench from Ingco, listed as model HRTH0812, with a 45-tooth mechanism and an overall length of 260mm. The body combines CR-V and Cr-Mo steel, and it ships on a plastic hanger, which suits pegboard or wall storage in a home garage or small workshop. The 1/2-inch square drive is the size most people reach for on wheel nuts, suspension bolts and larger engine fasteners, so this suits someone doing routine car maintenance or heavier assembly work rather than delicate jobs. The 45-tooth count means a moderate swing arc between clicks, which is worth weighing against finer-tooth ratchets if you often work in tight spaces. Before buying, confirm your sockets are 1/2-inch drive, and think about whether you want a flex head, a longer handle for extra leverage, or a quick-release button, since those are the usual differences between ratchets in this class. Also check whether a case or tray matters to you, because this one comes on a hanger only. Available on Sokonia.
