Tronic Automatic Transfer Switch 100A
TSh 3,175,000
Our review
This is a Tronic automatic transfer switch rated at 100A, built around a microprocessor that watches the incoming mains supply. When the main power is lost, or when the voltage swings too high or too low, the controller reacts and the switch moves the load over to your backup source. That makes it relevant if you run a standby generator or inverter and want the changeover to happen without someone standing at a manual switch. It suits homes, shops, offices and small installations where the backup supply is sized to match a 100A feed. Before buying, confirm your backup source can carry the load you intend to pass through, and check that your wiring and protection are rated for the same current. Also think about how your generator or inverter is started, since the controller only handles the switching side. Compared with manual changeover switches, the appeal here is automatic, voltage-aware operation; compared with basic ATS units, the microprocessor control is the distinguishing point.
