Tronic Black Track Rail, 1.5 Meter

Our review

This is a 1.5 metre track rail from Tronic, finished in black. Its job is to carry the electrical supply along a continuous run so several lights can be powered from one track rather than each fitting needing its own cable back to a single point. That makes it a sensible choice if you are planning a row of lights in a living room, kitchen or bedroom and want the flexibility to move or add heads later. Before buying, check the track system you already own or intend to buy, since rails and heads are not universally interchangeable, and confirm that 1.5 metres is the length you need once you account for how the sections join. Compare it with fixed ceiling fittings, which are simpler but lock you into one position, and with other track lengths if your run is longer or shorter.
