Ingco HSS Twist Drill Bits Set, 25 Pieces, 1–13mm (AKD1251)

Our review

This is a 25-piece set of twist drill bits from Ingco, made from M2 high-speed steel with fully ground flutes and a 135° point. The sizes run from 1.0mm up to 13mm in 0.5mm increments, so you get a continuous range rather than a handful of common sizes, and the whole set comes in a plastic box that keeps the bits organised. It suits someone who drills a variety of hole sizes and wants one case instead of buying bits individually, whether for workshop metalwork, general repairs or mixed materials. Before buying, check your drill chuck's maximum capacity, since the largest bit is 13mm, and confirm your drill can run the smaller diameters without slipping. Compare against cobalt or titanium-coated sets if you often drill harder steels, and against smaller bit counts if you rarely need the in-between sizes. M2 steel is a reasonable general-purpose choice, but it rewards steady speed and pressure over forcing the bit.
