Sony KDL-32W830K 32-Inch HD Ready LED TV with Motionflow XR 200Hz

Our review
This is a compact Sony LED television aimed at bedrooms, kitchens, study rooms and smaller living spaces where a 32-inch screen fits comfortably. The panel is HD Ready at 1366x768 rather than Full HD, so it suits everyday viewing, local channels and streaming at close range, but it will not show the fine detail a 1080p or 4K set of the same size can. Motionflow XR 200Hz helps with fast movement, which matters if football and other live sport are a priority, and the dedicated Live Football Mode is a sign Sony tuned this model with sport in mind. Three HDMI ports give you room for a set-top box, a console and a Blu-ray player at the same time, while the two USB ports handle drives and other devices. Sound is rated at 20 watts with Dolby Audio, which is reasonable for a small room but worth comparing against a budget soundbar if you watch a lot of films. Before buying, check the resolution meets your expectations, confirm the stand and wall-mount arrangement suit your space, and compare against similarly sized Full HD sets if sharpness matters more to you than motion handling. The set is available on Sokonia.
