Tronic Surface Downlight 6W + 3W Tri Color ILU DN09-TC

Our review

This Tronic surface downlight is a ceiling-mounted LED fitting that runs at 6 watts, with an extra 3 watts available, and lets you switch between Warm White, Cool White and Daylight. Because it mounts on the surface rather than recessed into a cut-out, it suits rooms where you cannot or would rather not cut into the ceiling, such as concrete slabs, rented spaces or simple renovations. The three colour settings make it a practical choice for a bedroom, corridor, kitchen or small shop where the mood of the light matters. Before buying, check the ceiling surface is flat and sound enough to hold the fitting, and confirm the diameter and height work in your space. Compare it with fixed-colour downlights, which are often cheaper but lock you into one tone, and with recessed models if you want a flush finish.
