Tronic Grey Single Switch Socket with Neon

Our review

This is a single switch socket from Tronic, finished in grey with square edges and a smooth, shiny surface. The screws are left visible on purpose, which makes it straightforward to open up for maintenance or to replace the unit once it wears out. It is aimed at anyone wiring or rewiring a room who wants a socket that is simple to service rather than sealed and disposable. Before buying, check the mounting box and wiring in your wall match a single socket layout, and confirm the switch and neon arrangement suits how you want the point to work. Compare it with flush, screw-hidden sockets: those look cleaner but are harder to open later. Also weigh the grey finish against white or black fittings in the same room. The neon indicator is a small practical touch worth noting if you want to see at a glance whether the point is live. Available on Sokonia.
