Tronic Spiral Scone Decorative Wall Lamp, White, E14, 250mm Wide

Our review

This is a decorative wall light from Tronic with a stepped, spiral-like profile that throws light in layers rather than a single flat wash. At 250mm wide and 140mm tall, it is a fairly compact fitting, so it works well in hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and small living rooms where a large pendant would crowd the space. The white aluminium body keeps it neutral against pale walls, though on darker paint the shape reads more as a silhouette. It takes an E14 bulb at 220-240V, and no bulb is included, so budget for one and think about whether you want warm or cool light. Before buying, confirm your wiring suits a wall-mounted fitting and that an E14 base is what you already use elsewhere, since E27 lamps are more common in many homes. Compared with plain bulkhead lights, this is chosen for looks; compared with fabric-shade wall lamps, it is more durable and easier to wipe clean. Available on Sokonia.
