Tronic Dlex Black LED Light, 36W Daylight, 3060lm

Our review

The Tronic Dlex is a linear LED light in a black PVC housing, built to spread its output evenly so the area around it is not harsh on the eyes. At 36W and 3060 lumens in a daylight colour temperature, it sits in the brighter end of household and small commercial lighting, and the 1187mm length means it covers a long stretch rather than a single spot. It suits someone lighting a shop counter, workshop bench, corridor, kitchen or garage ceiling where an even wash of light matters more than a decorative fitting. Before buying, measure the space and check that a fitting of roughly 1187x100x42mm will sit where you want it, and confirm your supply is 220 to 240V AC. Compare it with other linear LEDs on lumens per watt, colour temperature and body material, since a metal or polycarbonate housing may suit damp or rough areas better than PVC. The one-year warranty is worth noting when weighing similar lights.
