Tronic Retro T30 60W E27 Dimmable Bulb, 2000K

Our review

This is a Tronic T30 bulb rated at 60W with an E27 screw base, and it is dimmable. Its light sits at 2000K, which is a very warm, amber-leaning white, and it puts out roughly 230 to 260 lumens. It runs on AC 220-240V at 50Hz and measures 185mm, so it is a fairly long bulb rather than a compact one.
It suits someone who wants a soft, low-output glow rather than bright task lighting: bedside lamps, wall sconces, pendant clusters, or decorative fixtures where the exposed T30 shape is part of the look. Because the output is modest for 60W, expect a dim, cosy effect, not room-filling light.
Before buying, check three things. First, confirm your fitting is E27 screw, not bayonet. Second, measure your shade or fixture: at 185mm this bulb may protrude or not fit inside a small lampshade. Third, check your dimmer switch is compatible, since dimmable bulbs can behave poorly on older dimmers.
Compared with standard bulbs of its kind, the trade-off is clear: you get a warm vintage look and dimming, but far fewer lumens than a modern LED. If you need brightness, look elsewhere; if you want atmosphere, this fits.
