Tronic Downlight SCOB LED 33W Daylight White Aluminium

Our review

This Tronic downlight is a recessed LED fixture built around a 33-watt SCOB light engine, running on AC 220–240V mains power. It comes in a white finish with a daylight colour temperature and an aluminium body measuring 300mm across. That combination points to a fitting meant for general illumination rather than mood lighting, so it suits anyone lighting a room where clear, bright output matters more than a warm, cosy glow.
Before buying, check the ceiling cut-out size your installer needs, since the 300mm figure is the only dimension given here and it may refer to the overall fitting rather than the hole. Also confirm your supply matches 220–240V, and think about whether daylight white is right for the space, as it reads cooler than warm white alternatives. Compare against other SCOB and COB downlights on wattage, colour temperature and body material, and consider how many fittings a room needs for even coverage.
