Nikai Hand Mixer 300W 6-Speed with Turbo, NH989A1

Our review
The Nikai NH989A1 is a corded hand mixer built around a 300W motor, with five speed settings plus a turbo function for extra bursts of power when a mixture thickens. It ships with two beaters for eggs and cream and two dough hooks for heavier mixtures, and an eject button releases whichever pair you are using. The attachments can be stored on the underside of the unit, and there is cord storage for tidier packing away. It suits home bakers who want one tool for both whipping and light dough work without moving up to a stand mixer. Before buying, think about how often you mix stiff dough, since a hand mixer asks you to hold and move it yourself, and check that the beaters and hooks are the type you prefer to clean. Compare it with other 300W hand mixers on attachment count, speed controls and how the cable stores.
