Tronic 2.0HP DOL Starter, 415V AC, IP65 Aluminium Enclosure
TSh 117,500
Our review
This Tronic unit is a direct-on-line starter, the simplest way to bring a small three-phase induction motor up to speed from a 415V AC supply. It is aimed at the 2.0HP end of the range, so it suits workshop machinery, small pumps, compressors and similar single-motor jobs where full-voltage starting is acceptable. The enclosure is aluminium with an IP65 rating, which means it is sealed against dust and water jets, and the white housing carries an integrated OFF switch plus an emergency ON push button. Before ordering, confirm your motor's full-load current, supply voltage and whether your utility allows direct-on-line starting, since larger motors often need star-delta or soft-start instead. Compare against other DOL starters on overload range, contactor quality and enclosure material, and check that the 1-year warranty terms fit your installation. Available on Sokonia.
