That makes it a sensible pick if you want to run an internet connection through your HDMI chain rather than adding a separate network cable. Before buying, confirm your devices actually support HDMI Ethernet Channel, since the feature only works when both ends do. Also check that 1.5 metres reaches comfortably between your source and screen. Compared with basic HDMI cables, this one is aimed at setups where that shared data channel matters; if you only need video, a simpler cable would do the same job.
