Our review
This is a 100-metre reel of four-core flexible cable with 4mm conductors, PVC insulated and made in Tanzania by Tronic. The copper is stated as 99.9% pure, which matters because conductor purity affects how much current the cable carries and how much heat it produces under load. Four-core flexible cable like this is typically chosen for wiring where several conductors run together, such as connecting equipment, distribution boards or installations that need a bit of give rather than stiff fixed cable. Before buying, confirm the conductor size suits the load and circuit protection you plan to use, and check that four cores is what your installation actually calls for, since two- and three-core versions exist. It is also worth comparing the copper content and country of manufacture against imported alternatives, as these often explain the difference in how a cable performs and lasts. If you are unsure about sizing or compliance for your setup, ask a qualified electrician first. Available on Sokonia.
