Tronic Insect Killer 20 Watts

Our review

This is a plug-in style flying insect killer from Tronic, rated at 20 watts. Insects that fly into the unit are electrocuted on contact, and the housing is made from fireproof ABS, so there is no chemical smell and nothing toxic released into the room. It suits households, guest rooms, kitchens and small offices where mosquitoes and other flying insects are a nightly nuisance, and it is a reasonable pick for anyone who prefers a physical trap over sprays or coils. Before buying, think about the size of the space you need to cover and where you will place or hang the unit, since the listing gives no coverage area or dimensions. Also check the Sokonia listing for the plug type and any mounting hardware. Compared with chemical repellents, this kind of zapper needs no refills, but it only kills insects that actually touch it, so it works best alongside basic steps like closing windows at dusk and clearing standing water.
