Tronic ILU DLSQ-06-WW Surface Downlight Square 6W Warm White

Our review

This Tronic surface downlight is a square, 6-watt LED fitting in warm white, part of the ILU DLSQ-06-WW line. Because it is a surface unit, it mounts directly onto the ceiling rather than sitting inside a cut-out, which makes it a practical option where you cannot or would rather not cut into the ceiling, such as concrete slabs or rented rooms. The warm white light suits living areas, bedrooms, corridors and hospitality spaces where a softer, inviting feel is wanted rather than crisp task lighting. Before buying, check the ceiling surface is flat and sound enough to take the fitting, and confirm the dimensions and mounting method match your space, since no specifications are listed here. Compare it with recessed downlights if you want a flush look, and with cool white versions if the room needs brighter, more neutral light. Also weigh it against larger wattages if one unit must light a big area, and against multi-packs if you are fitting a whole room. It is available on Sokonia.
