Nadstar Ice Maker 25kg QS-55 Air-Cooled with Water Spray

Our review

The Nadstar Ice Maker 25kg QS-55 is a countertop-style ice machine aimed at small food and drink businesses, or households that go through a lot of ice. Its listed model is I-25, and it uses air cooling with a water spray system rather than a static freezing tray. That combination is common in machines of this size, and it generally means faster, more consistent ice production than cheaper units that rely on gravity alone. Before buying, think about where it will sit, since air-cooled machines need clear space around the vents to shed heat, and check that the 25kg figure matches your busiest day rather than your average one. Compare against other air-cooled ice makers in the same capacity band, and look at how easy each one is to drain, clean and refill. If your space is hot or poorly ventilated, a water-cooled alternative may hold up better, though it uses more water. Available on Sokonia.
