Tronic Recessed Downlight Round 12W Daylight LED

Our review

This is a round recessed downlight from Tronic, rated at 12 watts and built to cast a daylight-white light rather than a warm yellow tone. It is the kind of fixture that sits flush in a ceiling, so it suits anyone planning general lighting for a room where clear, bright illumination matters more than a cosy mood. Because the light is daylight, it works well in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and workspaces, but it can feel clinical in a bedroom or lounge where you want softer warmth. Before buying, check the ceiling cut-out size and the depth above the ceiling, since recessed fittings only work if there is room to house them, and confirm the colour temperature suits the room. Compare it with other 12-watt recessed LEDs on brightness, beam angle and whether they are dimmable, because those details change how a room feels far more than the wattage alone. If you need several lights on one circuit, think about how many you will run together. Available on Sokonia.
