CKE WG-DS-4A Commercial 4-Slice Flip-Up Toaster, 1.8kW Stainless Steel

Our review

This is a four-slot toaster from CKE, model WG-DS-4A, rated at 1.8kW and finished in stainless steel. Its defining feature is an automatic flip-up function, which is aimed at kitchens where toast has to keep moving during a breakfast rush rather than being turned by hand. That makes it a fit for cafes, hotels and restaurants rather than a household countertop, where a smaller domestic toaster would usually be enough. Before buying, check the slot dimensions against the bread you actually serve, confirm the power supply your kitchen can give a 1.8kW appliance, and think about counter space and how the flip-up mechanism is cleaned. Compare it with standard pop-up commercial toasters: those suit lower volumes, while this one is positioned for heavier, continuous service.
