Tronic UFO Hi-Bay LED Light, 150 Watts

Our review

The Tronic UFO Hi-Bay 150 Watts is a high bay LED fixture, the round 'UFO' style that hangs from the ceiling rather than the long rectangular shape. High bay lights are made for rooms with tall ceilings, where an ordinary bulb leaves the floor dim. This one is rated at 150 watts, which puts it in the middle of the high bay range, so it suits workshops, warehouses, garages, factory floors, large retail spaces and covered storage areas where you need strong light spread across the floor but still concentrated enough to see detail clearly. Before buying, check the mounting height and the beam angle you need, because a narrow beam at low height creates hot spots while a wide beam at great height washes out. Also confirm the voltage and wiring your building uses, and whether you want a hook, bracket or pendant mount. Compared with other high bays, the key differences are wattage, beam angle and whether the driver is integrated. This is a focused choice for a tall space, not a general room light.
