CKE HW-6P Commercial Food Display Warmer, 2.2kW, 8 GN Pan Capacity

Our review
The CKE HW-6P is a heated display cabinet aimed at operations that keep food hot and visible for long stretches rather than plating to order. Its two-layer layout holds four GN pans per layer, eight in total, which makes it a fit for large buffets, cafeteria lines, and busy restaurants where staff refill trays constantly instead of cooking in small batches. Before buying, work out your real pan count and how often you rotate food, since eight pans of capacity is only useful if your service volume keeps them full. Check the pan depth and lid style you already own, and confirm the unit's footprint and power draw suit your counter or back-of-house setup, because a 2.2kW draw is not trivial. Compare it against smaller single-layer warmers and dry-heat display cases: those cost less and take less space but force more frequent refills. If your service is steady and high-volume, the extra layer earns its place; if it is sporadic, a smaller unit may serve you better.
