CKE Commercial Bean Mill 1.5L Coffee Grinder, Brushless Motor, Off-White

Our review

This CKE bean mill is built for volume. The 1.5L capacity and brushless motor point to a machine meant for cafes, hotels, restaurants and roasteries where grinding happens many times a day, rather than for someone pulling one or two shots at home. The brushless design is the detail worth understanding: compared with brushed motors of the same class, it runs more efficiently, lasts longer and produces noticeably less noise, which matters in an open bar or kitchen where staff work beside the grinder for hours. Before buying, think about how the grinder will fit your workflow. Check the burr type and adjustment range, since these decide whether you can move between espresso-fine and coarser brew settings, and confirm the hopper and dosing arrangement suits how your team works. Also consider power supply and the space the unit needs on the counter. Against conventional brushed grinders, the main trade-offs are usually upfront cost and the fact that brushless motors are harder to service locally, so ask about spares and who repairs it.
