CKE HW-500H Commercial Electric Food Display Warmer, 1.2kW Vertical Heated Showcase

Our review

This is a vertical heated display cabinet from CKE, model HW-500H, rated at 1.2kW. Its defining trait is its footprint: 380mm wide and 760mm tall, so it trades counter width for height and gives you several display levels in a narrow strip of space. That makes it a reasonable fit for small food businesses, kiosks, cafés and takeaway counters where a full-size horizontal warmer would dominate the service area. Before buying, think about what you will actually load into it, since the multi-level layout suits small, individually sold items rather than large trays, and confirm the internal dimensions and shelf arrangement match your portions. Also check how it will sit on your counter or floor, and whether the ventilation and power draw of a 1.2kW unit suit your setup. Compared with wider countertop warmers, this one wins on space but offers less horizontal room per level; compared with taller floor cabinets, it is more compact but holds less. It is available on Sokonia.
