It is aimed at caterers, hotels and event teams running grand weddings, banquets and other prestigious hospitality functions where food must stay warm for a big crowd without constant refilling. Before buying, think about your setup rather than the dish alone. A unit this size is heavy when full, so check your buffet table can take the load and that you have the burner fuel and space to handle it. Compare it with smaller chafing dishes of around half the capacity: those are easier to move and store, but you will refill more often and tie up more staff.
