CKE GF20Y-7L-A Gas Rice Cooker, 6L, 5.7kW LPG

Our review

The CKE GF20Y-7L-A is an industrial gas rice cooker built around a 6L pot and a 5.7kW LPG burner. It is aimed at mobile catering units, outdoor events and small-scale restaurants, where cooking speed and fuel economy matter more than the convenience of a domestic electric appliance. Because it runs on gas rather than mains electricity, it suits sites where power is limited or unreliable, but it also means you need a safe, well-ventilated setup and a regulated LPG supply. Before buying, think about how many portions you actually serve at peak times, since a 6L pot sets a natural ceiling per batch, and whether your workflow can keep batches moving. Compare it with electric rice cookers of similar capacity, which are simpler to place indoors but slower to recover and dependent on stable power, and with larger gas units that cost more to run per batch if you rarely fill them. Check that the gas type, burner output and pot size match your kitchen's setup, and confirm the listing details on Sokonia before ordering.
