Decakila 24cm Forged Casserole with Black Marble Non-Stick Coating (KMEP015B)

Our review

This Decakila casserole is a 24cm forged aluminium pot with a black marble non-stick coating that is PFOA-free. The 4.0mm thick rim is the detail worth noting: it helps spread heat evenly across the base and up the sides, which matters for sauces, stews and one-pot rice dishes where hot spots cause sticking or scorching. It suits someone cooking daily for a small household who wants a lighter pan than cast iron and easier cleanup than bare stainless steel. Before buying, check that 24cm fits your hob rings and your usual batch size, and confirm the lid situation, since none is described here. Compared with thinner non-stick casseroles, the forged body and thicker rim should feel more solid and resist warping, though it will still need hand washing and non-metal utensils to protect the coating. If you want oven-safe handles or a specific depth, compare those details against other casseroles in the same size range before deciding. It is available on Sokonia.
