Dessini 36cm Double-Sided Grill Pan

Our review

This Dessini grill pan is a 36cm double-sided piece of cookware, meaning it has two hinged halves that close over the food and can be flipped during cooking. The non-stick coating is the headline feature, and the flip design is meant to help heat reach both sides of what you are grilling without turning each item by hand. It suits someone cooking for a household rather than a single person, since 36cm is a wide surface, and it is a reasonable fit for anyone who grills meat, fish or vegetables indoors and wants less stovetop fiddling. Before buying, think about the size of your burners and whether a pan this wide will sit stably, and check that the handles and hinge feel secure, because a double-sided pan depends on that mechanism. Compare it with a standard single-surface grill pan if you mostly cook thin items, and with a flat griddle if you want more surface for pancakes or eggs. The non-stick finish also means you should plan to use silicone or wooden utensils to protect it. It is available on Sokonia.
