Dolphin ME-BG01 Blender with 1.5L Jar and 600W Motor

Our review

The Dolphin ME-BG01 is a countertop blender built around a 1.5-litre jar and a 600-watt motor, with a metal body and a pulse function. That combination points to a machine for everyday kitchen tasks rather than heavy commercial use: blending soups, smoothies, sauces and similar jobs in a household or small food-service setting. The pulse control is the feature to think about most, since it lets you run the blades in short bursts instead of one continuous speed, which helps when you want coarser results or need to clear food from around the blades. The metal body suggests a sturdier build than all-plastic alternatives, though it will add weight on the counter. Before buying, compare jar capacity and wattage against other blenders in the same class, and check whether the jar, lid and blade assembly suit how you actually cook. If you regularly crush ice or grind dry spices, look at models rated for those jobs. Available on Sokonia.
