Our review
The Dolphin Stand Fan 16 Plastic Blade ME-16488 is a pedestal fan built around a 16-inch blade span and plastic blades, sold under the Dolphin brand. Its listed summary leans on appearance rather than airflow numbers, describing it as modern, unique and attractive, and framing it as something meant to look good in front of guests, colleagues, friends and family. That tells you the design is part of the pitch, so it suits buyers who care about how a fan sits in a living room, office or reception area, not just whether it moves air. Because no specifications are given, check the blade diameter, number of speed settings, oscillation, height adjustment and assembly requirements on the Sokonia listing before ordering. Compare it with metal-blade stand fans if you want a different feel, and with tower or ceiling fans if floor space is tight. Plastic blades are generally lighter than metal ones, which is worth weighing against your expectations for the fan's overall build.
