Dolphin 18-Inch Indoor Wall Fan with Remote, Model ME-1805WP-R

Our review

This is a wall-mounted indoor fan from Dolphin, sized at 18 inches with five blades and supplied with a remote control. Because it fixes to a wall rather than sitting on a stand or the floor, it tends to suit rooms where floor space is tight, or spots where you want airflow directed at a fixed area such as a bed, desk or seating corner. The remote is the main convenience here, since wall fans are often mounted high and out of easy reach. The listed features are a high-velocity motor, a three-speed regulator and quiet operation, so it is worth comparing against pedestal and table fans on reach, mounting position and whether you actually need the remote. Before buying, check your wall can take the bracket, that a power point reaches the mounting spot, and that the sweep suits your room size.
