EvoQ 1.8L Rice Cooker, 700W, Non-stick Pot, Model ERC-18WH

Our review

This EvoQ model is a straightforward 1.8-litre rice cooker rated at 700W and wired for 220-240V at 50/60Hz, so it matches typical Tanzanian mains power. The inner pot is non-stick and weighs 290g, paired with a steel lid, while the body uses a white outer shell with a floral pattern over a black middle shell. It suits households cooking rice for two to five people, or anyone who wants a single-purpose appliance rather than a multi-function cooker. Before buying, confirm the 1.8L capacity matches your usual serving size, check that your kitchen socket accepts the BS plug, and note the 1.2m cord length when planning where it will sit. Compared with larger or programmable rice cookers, this one keeps things simple, so weigh that against models offering keep-warm settings or steamer trays. Available on Sokonia.
