Our review
The Hisense CanvasTV is a 55-inch QLED 4K smart TV built around a specific idea: it should look like art on your wall rather than a black rectangle. The Hi-Matte, anti-glare panel is the centrepiece here, cutting reflections so the picture stays readable when ambient light is working against you. Art Mode and the included UltraSlim Wall Mount let it sit flat against the wall like a framed painting, and the supplied frame completes that look. Google is the smart platform, and the panel runs at 144Hz with Dolby Vision HDR for film and fast-moving content.
This set suits someone who cares as much about how a TV looks switched off as switched on, and who has a wall where a flush, gallery-style hang is possible. Before buying, check that your wall can take the slim mount and that your seating distance works for 55 inches. Compare it with standard QLED and OLED sets: those may offer deeper contrast or wider viewing angles, but few are designed to disappear into a room the way this one is.
