Hisense 36000 BTU Inverter Split Air Conditioner AS-36UR4SDK00

Our review

This Hisense unit is a split air conditioner with an inverter, listed at 36000 BTU, which puts it in the range used for large rooms rather than a single bedroom. It is designed to both cool and heat, so it can serve a space through cooler months as well as hot ones. It suits someone air conditioning an open-plan living area, a large office, a shop floor or a similar space where a smaller wall unit would struggle. Before buying, confirm the room's size and heat load, since oversizing or undersizing both cause problems, and check that the indoor and outdoor units can be sited where you plan. Compare it with other inverter split systems at the same capacity, looking at energy behaviour, noise and the refrigerant used, and arrange installation with a qualified technician. The model is available on Sokonia.
