Hisense 42L 1100W Microwave with Grill, Digital, Model H42MOMME

Our review

This Hisense unit is a large-capacity microwave with a built-in grill, listed as model H42MOMME. The 42-litre cavity and 345mm glass plate mean it can take bigger dishes than a typical compact microwave, which suits families, shared kitchens or anyone who regularly reheats large plates and containers. The grill adds a second cooking mode, so you can brown or crisp food rather than only warming it. Power is stated at 1100W for microwave output, with grill input rated between 1200W and 1400W. There are 11 power levels, a 99-minute 99-second timer and defrost by weight, which is handy for thawing meat without guessing times. The pull-handle door and silver body with white cavity are worth noting if your kitchen has limited clearance, since a handle needs a little more room than a push-button door. Before buying, compare the external dimensions with your counter or shelf space, and check whether the grill power and capacity match how you actually cook. Similar microwaves with grills often trade capacity for a lower wattage, so decide whether size or speed matters more to you. It is available on Sokonia.
