Hisense 136L Chest Freezer FC-18DD4S4 in Grey

Our review
This Hisense chest freezer holds 136 litres and is finished in grey. Its 13kg per 24 hours freezing capacity tells you it can pull a decent load of fresh food down to temperature quickly, which matters if you buy meat or fish in bulk. The interior lamp helps when you are digging through the basket at night. At 84.2cm high, 69.7cm wide and 55.7cm deep, it is worth measuring your intended corner first, since chest freezers need clearance for the lid to swing open. The removable handle and fixed feet are small details, but the handle makes moving it through a doorway easier. Climate class SN/T means it is built for temperate to tropical conditions, which suits Tanzania. Compare it with upright freezers if you want easier organisation, or with larger chest models if 136 litres looks tight for a family. Available on Sokonia.
