Our review
This is a combined washer and dryer from Hisense, model WD5S1245BB, with a 12kg wash capacity and an 8kg drying capacity. It offers 16 programs, including steam technology that removes 99.9% of bacteria and yeast, a dedicated disinfectant cycle, and a 1400rpm spin speed. The Quick Wash setting handles loads of around 1kg in 15 minutes. It suits larger households that want one appliance for washing and drying, or anyone who values hygiene-focused cycles and a fast option for lightly soiled clothes. Before buying, think about whether 8kg drying is enough for your typical wash load, since drying capacity is lower than washing capacity. Also check that the machine's dimensions and door swing fit your space, and confirm the installation requirements for your home. Compared with separate washer and dryer units, this saves floor space but may take longer to dry a full 12kg load. Compare with standalone machines if you often wash very large loads and need to dry everything at once.
