Hitachi PV-X90N Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, 75AW Suction, 1.8kg

Our review
The Hitachi PV-X90N is a cordless stick vacuum built around a 75AW suction rating and a motorized brush head with LED lighting, so you can see dust as you work along skirting boards and under furniture. At 1.8kg it stays manageable for longer sessions, and the 40-minute runtime suits a typical flat or a few rooms before a recharge. H10 filtration helps keep fine dust contained, which matters if anyone in the house has allergies. It is a good fit for renters, small households and anyone who wants a grab-and-go cleaner for carpets, tiles, hardwood and upholstery rather than a heavy mains machine. Before buying, think about the size of your home against that 40-minute figure, check whether you need attachments for stairs and car interiors, and compare it with other cordless sticks on suction, weight and filtration. If you want a light vacuum for daily touch-ups, this one is worth a look on Sokonia.
