Hitachi 9kg Front Load Washing Machine BD-90XFV

Our review

This is a 9kg fully automatic front load washing machine from Hitachi, model BD-90XFV. The headline figure is its 1,600 r/min spin speed, which Hitachi pairs with original rotation control and low vibration technology. Together these are claimed to improve dewatering and raise the amount of water extracted by roughly 2%, so clothes come out drier and need less time on the line or in a dryer. The 9kg drum suits households of four or more, or anyone washing bulky items like bedding in fewer, fuller loads. Before buying, check that the machine's dimensions and door swing fit your space, and that your plumbing and power supply suit a front loader. Compare it with other 9kg front loaders on spin speed, noise and vibration, and how gentle each is on fabrics, since those are the differences you will live with day to day. It is available on Sokonia.
