Ingco Bolt Cutter 24-Inch HBC0824 with Cr-V Blade and TPR Handle

Our review

This is a 24-inch bolt cutter from Ingco, listed as model HBC0824. The cutting blade is Cr-V, the body has a black finish and polish, and the handles are two-colour TPR. It arrives packed on a paper card. A tool like this suits someone cutting chain, bolts, rods or padlock shackles where a hacksaw would be slow, and the long handles give useful leverage on stubborn metal. Before buying, think about the diameter you actually need to cut, since a 24-inch cutter handles lighter stock than longer models, and check that the jaws close flush along their full length. Compare blade material, handle grip and overall length against other cutters in the same size class, and confirm the model number matches what you intend to use it for.
